Sports activities are gaining more and more popularity. People choose to do it for various reasons. Often it is for health purposes, other times wanting to improve their figure. A lot of people who exercise say that it gives them extraordinary joy, with additional endorphins. These days, in addition to passion and taking care of one's body, monetary remuneration plays a big role. The most famous athletes receive considerable salaries for their tremendous efforts. People can see that they put in tremendous effort. As a rule, these are traditional sports, present with us for generations. However, a few years ago it was decided, to introduce something that would further combine sports and financial aspects.
The beginnings of the Polish federation
May 2018 was the period where the first Polish fama mma federation was established with the intention of organizing freak fight type galas. The fights do not differ significantly in rules from the typical ones, as the fighters here mainly fight under MMA rules. Sometimes, however, other types are featured. One of the main things that distinguishes these events is the fact that the people taking part in the fights often have nothing to do with the sport. In order to attract a huge audience, organizers decide to sign influencers, youtubers, celebrities, and other well-known people in the social media world. The decision to do so turns out to be a flawless one, as influential figures deciding to fight draw their loyal viewers behind them to the stands or in front of their monitor screens.
Popularity with audiences of all ages
Fame mma has gained immense popularity among those of the younger generation, but not only. Young people often encourage their relatives to watch, and the federation is gaining more and more publicity this way. The owners, and there are as many as four of them, thanks to such a high profile of these events, are able to grow even further by inviting bigger and bigger stars. This, of course, entails one thing, and that is even greater viewership.
People involved in the creation of fama mma
Before presenting the exact concept, as well as the more important fighters, it is worth mentioning the people responsible for creating and running the show. Fame mma has four creators: Wojciech Gola, Michal 'Boxdel' Baron, Krzysztof Rozpara and Rafal Pasternak. Initially, the title of main host went to Arkadiusz Pawlowski. Currently, Hubert Mściwujewski, together with Sylwester Wardega, are responsible for leadership during the conference.
Combining sports and financial aspects
A thing mentioned earlier is that celebrities, when deciding to fight, sign a contract with the federation for one or more appearances, which comes with a high salary. This depends, of course, on the person's reach and, when signing further contracts, also on the number of ppv sold. The federation, therefore, does not interview potential participants by taking into account whether they have had previous exposure to the sport. Often these are people who have trained something else, or even those who have had no previous exposure to the activity. Prospective fighters then begin a period of hard preparation, the main goal of which is to have a fight that focuses the attention of spectators. Often it lasts only a few minutes.
Selecting players
Signing a contact is tantamount to several other issues. The fighters, tying themselves to the Polish fame mma federation, are obliged to keep certain information private. Before the fights, they also take part in two conferences, where they are interviewed, with opponents selected by the owners. The initial idea behind the fights, was to juxtapose people who hold some sort of grudge against each other. For years it has been known that what causes controversy on the Internet, but also not only, is much more interesting and gets more displays. Nowadays, however, not all struggles take place on negative grounds. If the person in question has a large following himself, it is certain that he will still attract a public behind him.
Popular artists fighting at galas
The gala concept is designed to encourage viewers to watch the whole thing. It initially begins with fights between lesser-known and influential celebrities, and with the next fight the popularity of the fighters, and often the conflict, grows. The fights of the evening, taking place at the very end, often feature juxtapositions of people who attract the largest number of their fans. Among those who have appeared are the federation's own boss 'Boxdel', Linkimaster, Lil Masti, Najman, Popek, Dubiel, Blonsky, Kizo, Don Kasjo and Nitro. These are, of course, only a few of them, as during all editions, more than 120 fighters competed.
Huge development of fame mma
The owners, in creating this very gala, were certainly not fully aware that it would be so successful. We are now looking forward to the fifteenth fame mma gala, which will take place on August 26, 2022 in the Atlas Arena in Lodz. The federation has grown tremendously and will definitely be moving in that direction. It has now also released its Fame MMA bar.
